Responsibilities
  • Lead full-cycle HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador, ensuring Velvet Desert’s identity is reflected in every aspect of the employee experience while supporting growth and expansion.
Role Focus Areas
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding — Oversee sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding across HQ and retail teams.

  • Compliance & Audit Readiness — Ensure HR documentation complies with GCC labor laws and is audit-ready.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification preferred).
  • 4-5 years of HR management experience, ideally in retail, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Strong understanding of GCC labor laws and multicultural workforce dynamics.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
  • Proven ability to build trust, resolve conflicts, and align HR initiatives with business goals.

Job Responsibilities

Digital Learning Platform Administration

E - Learning (Super Admin):

  • Manage user creation, license allocation, and group enrollments
  • Monitor completion data, learning hours, and engagement metrics
  • Generate and distribute regular learning reports to stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot learner issues and escalate platform-related concerns when needed

SuccessFactors LMS:

  • Administer and update learning catalogs, courses, and user assignments
  • Track training completions and maintain accurate learning histories
