We are currently hiring Senior Finance Officer for handling key financial processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the Finance Manager in day-to-day operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively. Job Description
Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statements Ensure timely and accurate closing of month. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing relevant data and analysis. Monitor cash flow and manage bank reconciliations Ensure compliance with local tax laws (Tax retention, withholding tax, corporate tax) and assist with tax audits. Coordinate with internal and external auditors, and prepare necessary audit documentation Ensure all financial transactions comply with internal policies and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) Identify areas for process improvement and assist in system implementations Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (ACCA preferred). Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (IFRS preferred). Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting/ financial software. Audit background or experience is highly preferred Additional Information
Must have a transferable visa (Article 18 – Private Sector). Candidates currently residing in Kuwait only. Should be able to join immediately or with short notice.
