PositionCollege of Engineering at IUK seeks candidates for an assistant/associate professor to teach Architecture & Design Engineering courses. Faculty members will teach introductory-level Architecture & Design Engineering courses for science and engineering majors and non-science majors. In addition to teaching, candidates are expected to maintain scholarly work and engage in professional services. The candidate will contribute to developing an outcome-based, student-focused curriculum. The primary role is to promote high-quality teaching, research, and services, and to collaborate with the Head of Department, College Dean, and colleagues to achieve program objectives and student learning outcomes. Responsibilities include mentoring junior colleagues and teaching assistants, and supporting the department and university with administrative and academic services.
Additionally, faculty members are expected to maintain office hours, provide advisement for students, participate in curriculum development, and contribute to professional development activities.
