A Developer Relations Engineer is a technical expert, strategist and communicator with deep empathy for developers. This discipline combines practical engineering skills with firm diplomacy across organisational boundaries, in both directions. Like our audience, a Developer Relations Engineer is never satisfied with the status quo, and is driven by an insatiable curiosity to find better ways to get things done. What your day will look like

In a typical day, a developer relations engineer might:

  • take part in team product meetings, at levels from strategy to day-by-day development progress, contributing insight and expertise
  • maintain conversations with developer community members wherever they may be found - IRC, social media, product forums, meet-ups and more
  • work with colleagues in other teams in the company, as part of efforts to help establish commonality and consistent approaches
  • help solve specific technical problems that users or colleagues have identified
  • contribute to technical documentation to ensure that developer users' needs are met there
  • work on technical articles, presentations or workshops
  • identify new opportunities and directions for improvement in the developer experience we provide
  • present at conferences, meetups or technical events

The Role

Act as an administrative assistant and working on providing a complete secretarial/clerical service, including office management, correspondence and clerical responsibilities.

Key Accountabilities and Activities

Manage timely renewal for all gate passes (permanent & temporary) for contractors, subcontractors, and maintenance teams and following them 24/7.

Preparing all the required documents (civil id, car book, passport copy), typing the letters and get it signed by Wataniya managers for all access requests.

Regular follow up with Admin & ministries/authorities (including site visits) for the access requests and capture/update the access issue registers with all access issues.

Maintain all access letter forms, templates, requirements for the ministries/authorities & owners and saving them in separate folder.

Maintain records/files, replenishes stationery and arranges servicing of office equipment to ensure the department staff can function effectively and with minimum disruption.

Delivering the company’s letters and mail to all private and governmental bodies and following them to process the needful.

Apply and follow up for all Ooredoo Licenses in all Ministries.

Prepare and apply the required document to renew the employee residency.

Keeping and following all Admin & the company papers and correspondences to ensure delivering them to the exact receiver in accurate time to avoid any mistake or delay.

Insure to collect data and prepare forms for social security to confirm the number of Kuwaiti staff registered with the Company, under directions of Human Resources for the purpose of obtaining clearance certificates for submission to the Ministry of Labour.

Executing all orders from top management and helping them and all other senior employees in fulfilling their needs and business requirements.

Taking care of the company’s guests from the moment of arrival till their departure.

Achieving and accomplishing all tasks given by project managers to ensure success to such missions.

Observe and apply strict level of confidentiality and discretion in all matters related to work performance and in providing services for the administration of departmental operations.

Establish, maintain & revise filing and record keeping system of all documentation. Classify, sort & file correspondence and other documentation.

- Report to the Country Manager all changes/updates which may affect the company’s legal status, with regards to Regional Occupational Program (ROP), Municipality, Chamber of Commerce and Public Authority of Manpower etc.
- Communicate employees’ concerns with the Country Manager.
- Follow up Clients to collect amounts due on invoices.
- Monitor and control the Aging of Receivables (Over 90 Days) by collecting outstanding aged amounts from Clients.
- Requirement open for Arabic speakers.
- Must have 3+ years of experience as PRO / Messenger.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, writing and speaking.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel etc.)
- Transferable residence (Article 18).
- Valid driving license.

Job Summary:

The HR Specialist will be a strategic partner who plays a critical role in aligning the organization's people strategy with its business goals. You will be a trusted advisor to both business leaders and employees, providing expert guidance on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement effective HR policies and programs that support the strategic growth of the business.
  • Resolve employee relations issues and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Provide thought leadership on organizational development, talent management, and people-related strategies.
  • Consult with line managers on a daily basis, and manage areas like performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and development and coaching.
  • Educate and coach managers on best practices for talent management and employee development.
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
  • Help build and maintain a strong organizational culture that fosters employee engagement and productivity.
  • Audit the employee performance by reviewing the KPI metrics and score card before payroll submission.
  • Implement and monitor Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) to support employee development and goal achievement.
  • Foster a positive and engaged work environment through HR programs and other employee engagement activities.

Candidate skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or a relevant field
  • Must have 5 or more years of HR experience
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Strong understanding of the Kuwait Labor Law
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Effective organizational abilities
