Overview
- This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP.
Under the supervision of the COMMEL Supervisor, responsible for the Field Level Maintenance services and repairs of Vehicle Radio Installation Kits. Provide maintenance and repair of tactical communication systems installed in track and wheel vehicles. Responsible for inventoring and reordering parts for bench stock re-supply.
Responsibilities
This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.
- Perform a full range of vehicle radio systems maintenance at the Field Level.
- Complete work assignments within required man hours standards and requirements.
- Use correct technical manuals, bulletins, and written directives in the performance of duty.
- Troubleshoot equipment, diagnose problems, and perform corrective actions.
- Order required repair parts using appropriate parts manuals and/or automated systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education/Certifications: One year of related experience may be substituted for one year of education if a degree is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain a host nation driver license.
- Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a CAC.
- Experience: Three years of work experience in communication maintenance.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of test equipment.
- Collaborative work style fostering cooperation and teamwork.
- Ability to work effectively with employees and management at all levels, including multi-national staff, superiors, and military officers.
