Job Description
- Implement and maintain Kuwait Airways’ overall distribution strategy, ensuring all distribution channels are available, and fully support commercial business objectives. Ensure that distribution supplier contracts are maintained, and that all invoices are processed, reconciled and approved in accordance with company procurement and financial practices. Provide day to day management of Distribution team.
- **Tasks and Duties**:
- a. Supervises the activities of assigned personnel in the Distribution. Performs supervisory duties and exercises financial authority at the level established by Management for the position.
- b. Acts as primary point of contact for third party distribution vendors and vendors of related support services. Resolve and respond to day to day business queries; escalating issues to Head of Distribution, as required.
- c. Monitor Kuwait Airways’ presence within contracted third party distribution systems (such as GDS’, OTAs and Meta-search Engines), ensuring that appropriate content is being displayed and maintained, and that such systems are optimized to ensure maximum revenue opportunities are realized for Kuwait Airways.
- d. Liaise with Kuwait Airways Scheduling, Revenue Management and Pricing teams, to ensure that appropriate content is being distributed and updated via organizations such as ATPCO and OAG, to ensure that contracted GDS participation levels and business requirements are achieved.
- e. Maintain contracts and supporting documentation for all third party distribution vendors and vendors of related support services, including a log of contracts, with commencement and expiry dates. Ensure that any applicable updates or notifications are distributed internally.
- **Requirement**:
a. Bachelor's degree in Administration of Science, Marketing or equivalent.
- b. 10 years' varied experience in commercial airline or travel agency systems.**Skills**:
Very good knowledge of both spoken and written English.

What you'll be doing
At Chalhoub, we express the exceptional! As a Fashion Consultant, you will be responsible for achieving individual and collective sales targets while delivering exceptional Guest Experience; and ensuring support in the implementation of CRM, CX, and other key customer and people initiatives in-store.
- You will collect data on customer behaviour, top sellers, slow movers, which will be key input for business reviews.
- Drive client relationships within an omnichannel approach.
- Provide pre-buying feedback on products.
- Drive eNPS through people experience initiatives and culture.
- Ensure adherence to VM guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure click and collect are conducted within SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
- Ensure customer data is properly captured in adherence to marketing team requirements.
- Promote loyalty program (MUSE) and stay up-to-date with app offerings, etc.
- Support with in-store marketing events and activations.
- Keep abreast of all brand social media activities and campaigns.
- Drive sell-throughs within the store.
- Support in-store CX initiatives.
- Provide input on what’s working well / what’s not within the store.
