Position Objective: The Sales Associate is responsible for representing the brand by maximizing sales and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves maintaining store standards, supporting visual merchandising, and assisting in the overall retail experience while adhering to operational duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers, assist in product selection, promote loyalty programs, and follow the GUEST model (Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank). Stay informed about brands and educate customers on product features and care instructions.
- Grooming / Attitude / Knowledge: Maintain a professional appearance, be flexible with working hours, and stay updated on product knowledge to minimize stock loss and provide accurate recommendations.
- Merchandising: Display products attractively, adhere to visual guidelines, manage inventory records, and upsell/cross-sell to increase sales. Maintain product knowledge and promotions for effective communication.
- Process: Operate POS systems efficiently, balance cash tills, process payments accurately, issue receipts/refunds, follow security policies, and replenish stock to ensure product availability.
Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred, with effective communication and interpersonal skills. Previous sales experience is advantageous.
Additional Information: Entry level, full-time position in Sales and Business Development within the retail industry.
