The Marketing team at Canonical drives commercial outcomes for the company across its portfolio of products and grows the addressable market through digital marketing campaigns, lifecycle management, events, partnerships and community development. This role sits in the Marketing team reporting to the Growth Engineering Manager.

Location: This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region.

What your day will look like

  1. Utilise advanced data analytics to grow Canonical's product adoption and market penetration
  2. Focus on quantitative and qualitative data analytics to find insights and meaningful business outcomes
  3. Design and conduct experiments with data, visualisation and insights into Canonical's target audiences
  4. Collaborate with stakeholder teams (Product Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, RevOps, etc) to improve the data and tool ecosystem
  5. Put in place and maintain systems to ensure teams across the company have self-service access to data dashboards

What we are looking for in you?

  1. Background in data science, mathematics, actuarial science, or engineering
  2. Knowledge in advanced statistics, data sciences, coding/scripting languages (Python, JS, etc), and databases (SQL, etc)
  3. Strength in data analytics and visualisation (Looker Studio, Tableau, Apache Superset, etc)
  4. Ability to translate business questions to key research objectives
  5. Ability to identify the best methodology to execute research, synthesise and analyse findings
  6. Excellent writing and communication skills
  7. Willingness to examine the status quo and resilient in the face of challenges

We are also interested in those marketing data analysts who are curious enough to embrace new technologies and are ready to work with unfamiliar tools, if needed.

The role of a Marketing Data Analyst at Canonical

Canonical has provided developers with open source since 2004, helping them build innovations such as public cloud, machine learning, robotics, or blockchain. Marketing at Canonical means being at the forefront of innovation, for our customers and for our own martech stack. We're on the lookout for a marketing data analyst to join our team and execute on our growth hacking strategy.

The Marketing team at Canonical drives commercial outcomes for the company across its portfolio of products and grows the addressable market through digital marketing campaigns, lifecycle management, events, partnerships, and community development. If these things are important to you and you're motivated by driving growth, delighting customers, and filling the sales funnel, we want to talk with you.

This role sits in the Marketing team reporting to the Growth Engineering Manager.

Location: This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region.

What your day will look like
- Utilise advanced data analytics to grow Canonical's product adoption and market penetration
- Focus on quantitative and qualitative data analytics to find insights and meaningful business outcomes
- Design and conduct experiments with data, visualization and insights into Canonical's target audiences
- Collaborate with stakeholder teams (Product Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, RevOps, etc) to improve the data and tool ecosystem
- Put in place and maintain systems to ensure teams across the company have self-service access to data dashboards

What we are looking for in you?
- Background in data science, mathematics, actuarial science, or engineering
- Knowledge in advanced statistics, data sciences, coding/scripting languages (Python, JS, etc), and databases (SQL, etc)
- Strength in data analytics and visualization (Looker Studio, Tableau, Apache Superset, etc)
- Ability to translate business questions to key research objectives
- Ability to identify the best methodology to execute research, synthesize and analyze findings
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Willingness to examine the status quo and resilient in the face of challenges

The Senior Sales Consultant is responsible for driving the sales of vehicles and related products and services by delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining expert knowledge of the automotive portfolio, and mentoring junior sales staff. This role plays a key part in achieving dealership targets and enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Job Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers professionally and courteously.

Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicles, features, finance options, and aftersales packages.

Conduct test drives and explain product specifications and benefits effectively.

Maintain high conversion rates from inquiry to sale.

Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process and after delivery.

Proactively follow up on leads, inquiries, and previous customers to generate repeat business.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all vehicle models, pricing, promotions, financing, and registration processes.

Present vehicles to customers in a structured, professional manner using the company sales process standards.

Stay informed of competitors’ offerings and market trends.

Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Coordinate with finance, insurance, and registration departments for a seamless customer experience.

Guide and support junior sales staff through product training, shadowing, and process coaching.

Set a high standard of professionalism and performance for the team.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Minimum 4–6 years of automotive sales experience, with a proven track record of achieving targets.
