Job PurposeTo provide exceptional customer service by identifying customer needs, offering expert beauty advice, and demonstrating products in line with brand standards. The Beauty Consultant will focus on building long-term customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and maintaining an elevated store environment that reflects the luxury image of the brand.
Key ResponsibilitiesMeet and exceed sales targets set by the Line Manager.
Deliver personalised beauty advice and exceptional service to meet customer needs.
Maintain grooming and conduct standards in line with the brand’s luxury image.
Provide beauty treatments as per the Beauty Room training and manual.
Ensure the beauty room is maintained to standards and ready for use at all times.
Merchandise products according to guidelines, ensuring correct stock rotation.
Maintain high housekeeping and hygiene standards, including window displays and product presentation.
Monitor daily stock levels and recommend replenishment as required.
Accurately complete administrative tasks, including updating customer database records.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Actively identify opportunities to increase sales through link selling and upselling.
Promote in-store campaigns and special offers to customers.
Education & Certification
High school education or equivalent.
Experience
1–2 years’ experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics industry.
Skills & Attributes
Passion for beauty and luxury brands.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide tailored beauty advice.
Strong sales orientation and customer focus.
High standard of personal grooming and presentation.

What You'll Be Doing
Our Beauty Consultant is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to all customers and to use appropriate sales techniques and product knowledge to reach sales targets. Our Beauty Consultant is accountable for counter cleanliness, stock replenishment, handling new launches, promotion of products and merchandising. Our Consultant is also required to maintain high levels of standards in terms of grooming.
- Build and maintain guest experience standards in order to build strong loyalty
- Address customers' queries about products, prices, availability, product uses, and services
- Communicate with customers to assess their needs, provide assistance in satisfying those needs an meeting or surpassing customers expectations
- Advise customers on product ranges best suited to their needs
- Demonstrate usage and benefits of various brands and products
- Generate sales, while achieving line and sales targets, using make up knowledge
- Sell-out target tracking at store level
- Generate daily sales reports
- Participate in achieving incentives
- Track post-launch sales at store level
- Ensure merchandising levels in the store are met as per the brand guidelines
- Ensure in store stock replenishment in the appropriate shelves/counters, at appropriate times
- Report stock shortages using the stock order form
- Ensure stock receipt as per set procedures
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the beauty industry

What you'll be doing
Our Beauty Consultant is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to all customers and touse appropriate sales techniques and product knowledge to reach sales targets. Our Beauty Consultant isaccountable for counter cleanliness, stock replenishment, handling new launches, promotion of productsand merchandising. Our Consultant is also required to maintain high levels of standards in terms ofgrooming.
- Build and maintain guest experience standards in order to build strong loyalty
- Address customers' queries about products, prices, availability, product uses, and services
- Communicate with customers to assess their needs, provide assistance in satisfying those needs anmeeting or surpassing customers expectations
- Advise customers on product ranges best suited to their needs
- Demonstrate usage and benefits of various brands and products
- Generate sales, while achieving line and sales targets, using make up knowledge
- Sell-out target tracking at store level
- Generate daily sales reports
- Participate in achieving incentives
- Track post-launch sales at store level
- Ensure merchandising levels in the store are met as per the brand guidelines
- Ensure in store stock replenishment in the appropriate shelves/counters, at appropriate times
- Report stock shortages using the stock order form
- Ensure stock receipt as per set procedures

Overview of the role
The Beauty Specialist/ Makeup Specialist will play a key role in enhancing the beauty experience for our customers by providing expert makeup consultations, product recommendations, and demonstrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of makeup techniques, products, and trends, particularly those relevant to the Middle Eastern market. This role requires a dynamic and customer-focused individual who can provide exceptional service and foster long-term customer relationships.
What you will do
- Supports selling plans to deliver sales budget
- Carry out planogram and price change and maintain store appearance and merchandising standards
- Monitor stock level & ensure regular replenishment of stocks
- Conduct makeovers for customers
- Ensures proper safekeeping of all store merchandise to prevent shoplifting, damages and pilferages.
- Monitors and updates report on product shelf life
- Consolidates frequently asked products and recommends new SKUs to the Store Manager and submits to Program Lead.
- Consolidates customer profile in relation to customer queries, concerns and submits to Store Manager.
- Recommends category building activities (e.g. animations, hair and skin analysis, make over etc.)
- Recommends relocation and meter reallocation of product display relevant to store customer profile and category performance analysis.
- Provides information to customers on regimen building
Commercial
- Monitors and delivers 100% Brand Product availability
- Monitors replenishments of stocks and product housekeeping in the selling area.
- Cleans and Maintains make up applicators and tools.
- Ensures highlighting and cross-selling of EXCLUSIVE products on planograms and Off Shelf Displays related to product use.
- Checks proper implementation of promo call outs, hero display, price change etc.
- Attends to customers complaints with sincerity and understanding.
- Handle customer queries on beauty & skincare product knowledge and offer advise professionally aligned with the Brand of Service Standards.
- Follow through on customer’s feedback and requests
- Conduct personalized makeup consultations, including color matching, skin type assessment, and style preferences.
- Provide expert recommendations on makeup products and techniques suited to individual needs and occasions.
- Demonstrate product application techniques, including foundation, eye makeup, and contouring, to educate customers on achieving desired looks.
Process
- Aligns with Store Manager on submission of sales tracker
- Maintains adherence to planogram implementation.
- Ensures all products display in the selling area are in good condition and near expiry and damages products are pulled out from the selling area.
People
- Plans and monitors Personal Development Plans In role development interventions.
- Ensures timely submission of Performance Review
- Implements action plans for employee engagements.
- Strictly adheres to company policies and procedures (Code of Conduct, ROS, Data Governance).

What equips you for the role
Education: Certification or diploma in makeup artistry, cosmetology, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum Experience and Knowledge: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in makeup application, beauty retail, or a similar role, and team management. Must have extensive knowledge of makeup products, tools, and techniques, including an understanding of different skin types and tones, particularly those common in the Middle East.
