Job Description

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Investment Analyst to support the growing investment function. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in evaluating investment opportunities, monitoring portfolio performance, and supporting strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update internal investment tracking tools, including deal pipelines and trade logs.
  • Maintain investment and trade trackers to ensure timely updates on asset allocation and capital deployment.
  • Monitor portfolio liquidity, income, and allocation across funds, direct holdings, and discretionary mandates.
  • Prepare performance reports (quarterly, semiannual, annual) for internal stakeholders including the investment committee and board.
  • Perform financial modeling, scenario analysis, and risk assessment for new investment opportunities.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and provide strategic recommendations based on data insights.
  • Deliver investment reports, memos, and presentations to support committee decision-making.
  • Coordinate the full investment process: sourcing, evaluation, execution, and monitoring.
  • Stay abreast of macroeconomic trends, financial markets, and regulatory developments to inform investment strategy.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • CFA Level I / ACCA / CIMA (preferred)
  • 5+ years’ experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, or asset management
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment
  • Proficiency with Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar platforms
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
