On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Investment Analyst to support the growing investment function. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in evaluating investment opportunities, monitoring portfolio performance, and supporting strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update internal investment tracking tools, including deal pipelines and trade logs.
- Maintain investment and trade trackers to ensure timely updates on asset allocation and capital deployment.
- Monitor portfolio liquidity, income, and allocation across funds, direct holdings, and discretionary mandates.
- Prepare performance reports (quarterly, semiannual, annual) for internal stakeholders including the investment committee and board.
- Perform financial modeling, scenario analysis, and risk assessment for new investment opportunities.
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide strategic recommendations based on data insights.
- Deliver investment reports, memos, and presentations to support committee decision-making.
- Coordinate the full investment process: sourcing, evaluation, execution, and monitoring.
- Stay abreast of macroeconomic trends, financial markets, and regulatory developments to inform investment strategy.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- CFA Level I / ACCA / CIMA (preferred)
- 5+ years’ experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, or asset management
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment
- Proficiency with Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar platforms
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
