Position Overview

Projx Racing is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic / Workshop Manager with advanced diagnostic and repair skills to join our high-performance workshop. The ideal candidate must have strong dealership or reputable workshop experience, the ability to work independently, and readiness to join immediately.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various vehicles without assistance.
• Perform advanced mechanical repairs and maintenance (engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, etc.).
• Conduct basic electrical diagnostics and repairs when required.
• Use vehicle scanners and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues.
• Lead by example in maintaining workshop quality and safety standards.
• For Workshop Manager role: oversee daily operations, coordinate with staff, ensure efficient workflow.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a reputable company or automotive dealership in Kuwait.
• Must be currently working in Kuwait and able to join immediately.
• Transferable visa is mandatory.
• Strong mechanical knowledge (advanced level).
• Basic electrical diagnostic knowledge.
• Proficient with scanners and diagnostic tools.
• Leadership qualities for senior positions.

Description

As a Financial Controller, you focus on ensuring the company's financial health through strategic analysis, forecasting, and detailed reporting. This foundational work supports informed decision-making across the organization.

The job duties include:

• Supervises the day-to-day operations in the accounting;
• Leading a team of 15 to 20 employees;
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting;
• Verify accuracy and ensure that all work adheres to relevant compliance standards;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to minimize risk and identify growth opportunities;
• Overseeing budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash management strategies to maximize efficiencies and growth;
• Providing executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy-making and financial strategizing;
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets;
• Ensures compliance with standard and local operating procedures.

Skills

Skills & Competencies:

• A practical understanding of management accounting principles and techniques;
• Solid knowledge of standard accountancy and finance best practices;
• Solid IT skills, including proficiency in the relevant accounting packages;
• Strong analytical skills to effectively analyze financial reports;
• In-depth knowledge of budgeting and financial forecasting ;
• Ability to manage a high volume of work independently.

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree/Master's with minimum 20 years of professional experience in Accounts/Finance;
• Certified Chartered Accountant is mandatory;
• Proven work experience as a Head of Finance or similar role with exposure to Automotive Trading/ Engineering/ EPC/ Contracting/ Construction/ Remittance/ Insurance;
• Strong knowledge of business analytics combined with advanced technical skills, working with different stakeholders.

• Engage customers during presales to gather requirements and explain our technology
• Liaise with other Canonical's experts (mastering the Cloud, Kubernetes, Security or Safety, etc) to aggregate our collective knowledge into comprehensive solutions for our prospective clients
• Participate to the delivery of select projects related to Embedded Linux, including demos and PoCs
• Convey market requirements to key stakeholders in our organization, and sometimes participate to the development or refining of generic solutions to unlock market potential
• Be both a customer advocate and a trusted advisor to Canonical
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Extensive Linux experience - Debian or Ubuntu preferred
• Solid embedded Linux experience - Yocto or RTOS
• Fluency in Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust
• Professional written and spoken English in addition to the local language
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Interest in customer-facing engagement, including pitching, demonstrating and understanding customer environment and needs
• Result-oriented, ability to multi-task
• A personal drive to meet commitments

• Relevant experience in the Automotive industry
