The Role

We're An Early-stage Team Building a Project— a Fully On-chain Decentralized Borrowing Protocol — And We're Currently Looking To Bring On Two Web3 Developers

  • Frontend Developer – to help update and improve our React.
  • Smart Contract Developer – to build and integrate contracts using Solidity, ethers.js, wagmi, etc.

We're aiming to hire both by next month. Since we're a small, fast-moving startup, there's no formal hiring process — just a focus on working with skilled, motivated builders who can move fast.

These are short-term roles, but we’re open to extending the collaboration if it’s a good fit. Experience with multi-chain (EVM) development is a big plus.

Ideal Profile

  • You have hands-on experience building in Web3, with strong skills in React or Solidity/EVM tools like ethers.js, wagmi, or hardhat.
  • You have at least 3 years experience, ideally within a Software Engineer role.
  • You thrive in early-stage startup environments — you’re self-motivated, fast-moving, and able to take ownership without heavy structure.
  • You possess strong analytical skills.

HPC is an important and technically challenging compute domain, with specialised tooling and a very high expectation of precision, efficiency and automation. This role is for a software engineer to join our HPC team to deliver an outstanding HPC experience - from bare metal to public cloud - as part of the broader Ubuntu platform. We are looking for a range of skills and experience, and will work on everything from the kernel to Debian packaging, but the heart of our effort will be Python software development for automation of key software in the HPC sphere. Our focus is on delivering a world class experience for the operation of the HPC cluster itself.

You will be part of the team that delivers charms that deploy and manage the HPC cluster and provide HPC software packages.

To succeed in this application you must be outstanding at maths and sciences, have built high quality software, have learned about open source ideally by working on it directly, and be looking for an engineering role with a company that makes mission-critical products for the global market. You should also be familiar with the open source environment, and want to build products in partnership with a community. Ideally, you should have some experience of high performance computing environments and a desire to unlock HPC for the world.

For this role you must have experience with Python. Experience in HPC environments is a strong advantage. Familiarity with HPC hardware and software is also a strong advantage - delivering great experiences with Infiniband, RDMA, CUDA, MPI, Slurm, Lustre, Singularity and related technologies will be central to this team's work. It will also be advantageous to have experience with Docker image design and operations, and public cloud image design and operations.

Location: This role will be based remotely in EMEA or the Americas regions

We are hiring a Software Engineer for our OpenStack Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a software engineer passionate about open source software, Linux, and OpenStack. As a software engineer on the OpenStack Engineering team, you'll be building Charmed OpenStack and Ceph, a suite of open source Python based charms for deploying and managing OpenStack and Ceph. This role requires a python software developer with a passion for automating infrastructure as code.

HPC is an important and technically challenging compute domain, with specialised tooling and a very high expectation of precision, efficiency and automation. This role is for a software engineer to join our HPC team to deliver an outstanding HPC experience - from bare metal to public cloud - as part of the broader Ubuntu platform. We are looking for a range of skills and experience, and will work on everything from the kernel to Debian packaging, but the heart of our effort will be Python software development for automation of key software in the HPC sphere. Our focus is on delivering a world class experience for the operation of the HPC cluster itself.

You will be part of the team that delivers charms that deploy and manage the HPC cluster and provide HPC software packages.

To succeed in this application you must be outstanding at maths and sciences, have built high quality software, have learned about open source ideally by working on it directly, and be looking for an engineering role with a company that makes mission-critical products for the global market. You should also be familiar with the open source environment, and want to build products in partnership with a community. Ideally, you should have some experience of high performance computing environments and a desire to unlock HPC for the world.

For this role you must have experience with Python. Experience in HPC environments is a strong advantage. Familiarity with HPC hardware and software is also a strong advantage - delivering great experiences with Infiniband, RDMA, CUDA, MPI, Slurm, Lustre, Singularity and related technologies will be central to this team's work. It will also be advantageous to have experience with Docker image design and operations, and public cloud image design and operations.

This role will be based remotely in EMEA or the Americas regions

Key Responsibilities

Lead, design, and guide software development initiatives, while contributing individually when needed. Architect and design scalable software systems and solutions. Design, develop, and implement industrial database systems (MS SQL), including data structures, optimization, and performance tuning. Identify and implement business process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Develop enterprise-grade applications using ASP.NET technologies. Write complex MS SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions. Develop reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI. Debug and troubleshoot application and database issues. Participate in architectural and code reviews to ensure technical quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including department managers, vendors, and engineers. Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualification

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Required Experience

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in software development Proven experience in designing and implementing software architectures and enterprise-level solutions. Strong background in ASP.NET development. Solid experience in MS SQL Server â including complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and database optimization. Hands-on experience developing reports using SSRS and dashboards using Power BI. Involvement in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Prior experience in identifying and executing business process improvements or workflow automation is highly desirable.

Required Technical Skills

Proficient in ASP.NET, .NET Framework / .NET Core Deep knowledge of MS SQL Server, T-SQL, indexing, and optimization techniques Experience with SSRS, Power BI, and data visualization/reporting tools Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and application scalability Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills (technical and non-technical) Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Strong documentation and presentation skills Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
