- Act as Alternate Station Manager when required.
- Manage the overall Training, Quality Control and Safety Programs.
- Provide flight line drivers training and track recurring requirements.
- Develop training programs and with work leads and supervisors to train section employees, follow-up for compliance and effectiveness.
- Maintain and update the LBS-Kuwait standard operating instructions.
- Identify and train K-loader instructors per the current lesson plans.
- Evaluate all core processes for training requirements and schedule or conduct necessary supplemental initial / refresher training.
- Scrutinize GATES reports, flight line activities, and all other LBS managed processes for compliance with directives.
- Receive unacceptable Air Force Surveillance Activity Checklists and other customer complaints, investigate the root cause and propose and evaluate the corrective actions.
- Assess all discrepancies for trends, common causes and ineffective corrective actions and determine if discipline, training or resources are basic causes.
- Document, track and report all findings to the Station Manager in a weekly meeting.
- Ensure all operations comply with the latest applicable federal, installation and base policies, regulations, management plans, and requirements, regarding occupational safety and health.
- Establish, maintain, update and administer a comprehensive safety program that encompasses operational, facility and documentation requirements.
- Investigate safety incidents to determine origin, cause, contributing elements and report findings to Station Manager.
- Perform safety briefings to new-hires, document training, and accomplish periodic safety seminars to LBS employees.
- Publish Safety Periodicals to educate employees on local hazards, weather related dangers and any other applicable safety related topics
- Ensure work performed does not expose personnel or property to hazards, risk of injury, or damage.
- Conduct periodic and no-notice visits to work sites to ensure all facilities and operations are in compliance with all directives.
- Enforce only approved headgear, with the chin strap in-place or tight fitting, is worn on the flight-line.
- Oversee the maintenance of eye wash stations, hazardous clothing kits, and hazardous spill kits, and inspect each monthly or more frequently, as required.
- Inspect fire extinguishers and report unserviceable units to the COR.
- Responsible for the environmental compliance with recycling and resource recovery programs, pollution prevention, environmental compliance, clean-up and disposal of hazardous materials, and programs aimed at management and control of hazardous materials as well as the proper storage of any hazardous material used by LBS.
- Report hazardous situations or events, which cannot be eliminated immediately to the Station Manager.
- Monitor certification expiration dates and schedule required training with the CORs to ensure all contract required qualifications are current as all times.
- Manage the Joint Inspection program and monitor compliance of all directives by Joint Inspectors.
- Perform manual procedures as per contract requirements and submit findings to the Station Manager.
- Perform self-inspections for all sections at the interval deemed necessary by the Station Manager and report findings to the Station Manager.
- Perform in-house quality control inspections weekly and report findings to the Station Manager.
- Perform supplemental duties as required by the Station Manager.

**Required Qualifications**
- Current certifications covering areas of responsibility is preferred.
- Must have prior supervisory experience in Air Terminal Ground Handling Services.
- Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs. Must be detail oriented, motivated and driven to perform at a high level.
- Must be able to comprehend English to include reading and writing.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
