Academic Requirements:

The Purpose

Manage brand delivery and consistency across all markets for all product lines.

Build and manage the corporate communications budget.

Supervise advertising campaigns for advertising agencies, media firms or companies that have their own advertising departments.

Typically, they work in conjunction with a variety of departments, such as sales and finance, as well as creative staff, to create a campaign that meets the client or company's expectations.

Responsible for marketing and publicizing goods or services within a company.

Performs research to find target audience, holds focus groups, outlines goals, develops concepts, creates storyboards, approves copywriting, and sets budgets for ad campaignsLead the creative development of quarterly brand themes that convey the brand point-of-view, and business targets for the quarter.

Develop and direct measurable multi-channel, cross-channel, channel-specific, product, promotional, and cause-related marketing programs that tie back to brand strategy and business goals.

Responsible for ensuring that the products, services and product lines that fall under their domain resonate with current and potential customers.

To do so, these professionals continuously monitor marketing trends and keep a close eye on competitive products in the marketplace.

Other duties as directed by supervisor or other superiors.

Work to improve employee performance through personal coaching and identifying training and development needs.

Ensure Individual Development Plans (IDP) are completed for all staff in accordance with Ooredoo Telecom policy.

Conduct annual performance appraisals (Performance Management System) and ensure objectives set are monitored and achieved.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Mass Communication, Media, Advertising or related discipline and appropriate registration with a recognised professional institute

Qualification in Digital marketing is an added advantage

Requirements

8-9 required years of experience in advertising or promotional activities in the telecommunications sector

3+ year’s management experience.

Strong knowledge of the Kuwaiti advertising and media sector

Creative flair and excellent presentation skills

Ability to understand and execute the measurement of results and act appropriately to improve efforts

Ability to operate in a diverse multicultural, multinational work environment, exhibiting appropriate sensitivities

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Hospitality Management.
5-7 years of progressive Sales & Marketing experience within luxury or 5-star hotels, including at least 2 years in a managerial or assistant director role.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and business development.
Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage.
Flexibility to travel and attend events as needed.

Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing

to join our leadership team and support the Director of Sales & Marketing in shaping the commercial success of our hotel in Kuwait. A little taste of your day-to-day: Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: Assisting in the creation and execution of the annual sales & marketing strategy to achieve revenue goals across rooms, F&B, events, and other outlets. Leading, coaching, and motivating the sales & marketing team to deliver strong results while fostering a culture of collaboration and performance. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, government entities, corporate clients, and travel partners. Leveraging your

local market knowledge, strong connections, and networks in Kuwait

to capture new business opportunities and strengthen our positioning. Analyzing competitor activity, market trends, and performance reports to identify new growth areas. Coordinating with Marketing, PR, and Digital teams to enhance the hotel’s visibility and campaigns, ensuring alignment with IHG brand standards. Partnering with Revenue, Operations, and Finance to optimize pricing, promotions, and distribution strategies. Representing the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and community events to build brand recognition. Preparing performance forecasts, sales reports, and presentations for senior management.
