Five Rivers Services is looking for an ADPE Technician to work in Kuwait. Our ADPE Technician provides professional laptop and desktop support as well as customer service to military and civilian customers. Work involves troubleshooting hardware problems and repairing or referring to another repair facility as appropriate. Installs, troubleshoots, configures and repairs software issues for Windows operating systems (OS) and Microsoft Office 2007. Troubleshoots and resolves network connectivity issues at the desktop level. Joins personal computers (PCs) to local domains as required. Configures local PC connections to network printers. Performs custom transmission control protocol internet protocol (TCP/IP) configurations of desktops as required. Troubleshoots Microsoft Exchange Server connectivity issues. Installs and troubleshoots other software and peripheral devices as required by the customer. Performs other Service Desk functions as required.

Responsibilities

  • Installs, configures, and maintains DOD-approved communications software on government computers and configures the network to allow proper user access.

  • Installs and configures network printers.

  • Responsible for both classified and unclassified computer system stability through the use of DoD-approved, Government-furnished operating systems and software.

  • Joins client computers to Microsoft Active Directory domains.

  • Configures Microsoft Outlook and manages personal folders in all versions of Outlook.

  • Installs, configures, and maintains security software on military computer systems.

  • Repairs and maintains desktop and laptop hardware.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Must be a US citizen with an active Secret, or higher level, security clearance.

  • High school diploma or GED with at least two (2) years of experience relating to automation equipment repair.

  • Prerequisite requirements for State-side applicants: valid U.S. passport, valid International Driver’s Permit (IDP), valid U.S. driver’s license, and the ability to successfully pass a police clearance check and medical qualifications.

  • Prerequisites for in-country applicants:

    • valid U.S. passport.

    • valid International Driver’s Permit (IDP) or Kuwait-issued driver's license.

The Security Escort Program acts as an integrated member of the unit providing operations continuity during rotation of personnel for OCN/LN personnel. Under general oversight and guidance from the Site Manager (SM) and Assistant Site Manager (ASM) the Escort shall provide observation services located at assigned locations to augment the unit's Security Monitor program. Shall work as an integrated member of the unit and provide operations continuity during rotation of personnel. The Escort uses experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes, resolve conflicts, and ensure mission success.
This position is contingent based on contract award.

Responsibilities
Major Job Activities:
+ Escorts un-cleared personnel into areas and monitors personnel while performing work.
+ Logs in and out all Local National (LN) /Other Country National (OCN) contractors and counts personnel before and after they perform duties; notifies appropriate personnel of how many people and vehicles are being escorted.
+ Monitors LN/OCN work until it is completed for the day and the work zone has been purged by trained Force Protection military personnel and all LNs/OCNs have exited base and/or returned to camps.
+ Ensures LN/OCNs do not bring onto the base any prohibited or contraband (i.e., weapons, drugs, etc.).
+ Ensures all local base escorting policies are followed by LN/OCNs workforce.
+ Consistently deescalate issues through communication in a professional and prompt manner.
Material & Equipment Directly Used:
+ Use of Land Mobile Radios, cell phones, laptop, and other devices to maintain contact and accountability of work activities.
+ The ability to drive company provided vehicles on and off base.
Physical Activities:
+ Physical requirements include lifting up to 35lb, team lifting up to 50lbs, climbing, extended sitting, or standing, stooping, stretching, and bending.
+ Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as, hearing and eye protection.
+ Day-to-day physical requirements may involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs. frequently, etc.

How the Logistics Analyst Advisor will make an impact:

    • Reports to the WFS SWA FRA Site Lead and Deputy to keep them informed on all logistical mission-related requirements, progress, and to receive guidance, directives and changes in priorities as needed.

The likely salary range for this position is $91,811 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. + Must be capable of meeting/ maintaining deployment medical and dental requirements
+ Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
+ Must have effective communication skills (written/verbal) with exceptional problem resolution abilities.
+ Must be able to accommodate deployment travel within 2-3 weeks of accepting offer
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Previous military experience is preferred
+ Minimum of two (2) years supervising or leading a team of ten or more personnel
+ Minimum of two (2) years of prior experience working overseas
