Role Summary:

We are looking for a Head of Operations who will oversee the end-to-end management of our equipment and vehicle leasing operations. This includes fleet management, maintenance, logistics, service delivery, cost control, and team leadership. The ideal candidate must come with deep industry experience, technical understanding, and the strategic foresight to optimize operations, improve asset utilization, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Lead and manage the full operational lifecycle of our equipment and vehicle fleet across multiple geographies.
  • Fleet Management & Maintenance: Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all leased assets. Ensure high uptime and efficiency.
  • Process Optimization: Design and implement SOPs, KPIs, and operational workflows to improve turnaround time, reduce costs, and ensure timely service delivery.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a large technical and operational team based in multiple locations, including the Gulf and India.
  • Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Manage relationships with OEMs, parts suppliers, and maintenance contractors to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
  • Customer Focus: Ensure high service levels and support business development teams in client servicing and retention.
  • Cost & Budget Management: Monitor operational budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure optimal resource allocation.

Candidate Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Master’s degree/MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • 15–20 years of relevant experience in the equipment rental, vehicle leasing, or similar industry.
  • At least 3–5 years in a Head of Operations or similar senior leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of heavy equipment and passenger vehicle fleet operations.
  • Experience in managing large teams and multiple locations.
  • Exposure to the Middle East (Kuwait/KSA) markets will be a strong advantage.
