Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst – Supply Chain to drive digital transformation initiatives across our supply chain operations. You will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring that supply chain processes (procurement, planning, inventory, logistics, warehouse management, etc.) are supported by robust, scalable, and user-centric systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to gather and document business and system requirements.
- Analyze and map current supply chain processes to identify improvement opportunities and digitalization potential.
Solution Design & Implementation
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, workflows, and use cases.
- Support the design, testing, and deployment of ERP, WMS, TMS, and other supply chain applications.
- Ensure system designs align with IT architecture standards and business strategy.
Project Delivery & Support
- Act as IT workstream lead in cross-functional projects (ERP upgrades, system integrations, etc.).
- Collaborate with developers, vendors, and implementation partners to ensure solutions meet defined requirements.
- Support UAT planning, test case development, and user training.
Continuous Improvement
- Monitor system performance, gather user feedback, and propose enhancements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle SCM, Microsoft D365, Blue Yonder), and best practices.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in supply chain or logistics IT systems.
- Proven experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft D365) and/or WMS/TMS platforms.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand complex supply chain workflows and translate them into system solutions.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, JIRA, Confluence).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
Preferred:
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile/Scrum.
- Knowledge of integration concepts (APIs, EDI, middleware).
- Experience in supply chain analytics or automation (e.g., RPA, IoT, AI in logistics).
