Role Title: Waiter/Waitress

Job Purpose:

To provide excellent customer service by efficiently taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. The role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, adhering to hygiene and safety standards, and representing the company’s commitment to high-quality hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting tables at the beginning of each meal, placing sufficient dinnerware and drinks on the self-service buffet, and ensuring ease of movement in the dining hall.
• Receiving, preparing, and maintaining party equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper quantities from the warehouse.
• Receiving and fulfilling customer orders.
• Cleaning tables after meals and maintaining hygiene in accordance with company procedures.
• Familiarity with the menu to assist guest inquiries.
• Implementing HACCP standards to ensure food safety.
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness to reflect the company's image, while complying with health regulations.
• Coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Supervising and coordinating with kitchen and warehouse managers regarding equipment and menus.
• Greeting guests and presenting menus.
• Assisting with cleaning up after service and maintaining party equipment until return to the warehouse.
• Performing additional tasks within the scope of responsibilities as assigned.
• Implementing company policies, circulars, and decisions.

• High School Certificate or equivalent.
• No prior experience required.

• Ability to implement and follow up on food and beverage service standards.
• Ability to ensure readiness of staff to meet customer requests and receive orders.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English.

Job Summary / Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Waiter/Waitress to take orders and provide quality service to guests by ensuring prompt and courteous service following procedures and which exceeds the minimum standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Welcomes customers when they arrive at a restaurant.
• Introduces customers to the menu and announces daily or seasonal menu specials.
• Answers questions about menu items, ingredients, and pricing.
• Takes customers' orders for food and drink by writing them on a ticket, entering them into a tablet, or memorizing them.
• Passes customer orders along to kitchen staff for preparation.
• Prepares drinks and serves them to customers.
• Collects food orders from the kitchen, verifies that they are correct, and serves them to customers.
• Ensures that customers are satisfied with their meals and processes orders for additional courses if necessary.
• Removes used dishes, glasses, and flatware from tables.
• Prepares cheques and delivers them to customers.
• Processes cash and credit card payments and returns change to customers if necessary.
• Sets tables with dishes, glasses, and flatware and refills condiments.
• Maintains familiarity with menu items, specials, and restaurant information.
• Meets with managers and wait staff daily or regularly in order to learn about menu changes and specials as well as discuss upcoming reservations and customers with special needs.
• Helps food preparation staff when necessary.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one-year experience as a food server within a restaurant or hotel.
• Must be able to responsibly handle cash transactions.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Any related customer service/oriented experience will be considered.
• Must have clear written and verbal communication skills.

Start Date: Able to join within one month.
