SOSi is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to support a dynamic program in Kuwait. The Cyber Security Information System Security Officer (ISSO) A&A will provide guidance and assistance to the Authorization Official (AO) and Program – Information Systems Security Manager (P-ISSM) in protecting, detecting, characterizing, countering and mitigating unauthorized activity and vulnerabilities on DoD information networks and systems.
Essential Job Duties
- Adhere to and enforce all relevant Cyber Security policies and procedures.
- Advise and assist organizations in the preparation of Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation, Connection Approval Process (CAP), and Approval to Operate (ATO) requests for existing and proposed system or network changes.
- Provide oversight of Program Managed (PM) and Programs of Record (POR) cybersecurity compliance; coordinate certification and accreditation efforts for PM or POR systems.
- Ensure effective dissemination, reporting, compliance, and verification processes and procedures.
- Provide oversight of security violations reporting and incident handling.
- Audit configuration management and change control processes and procedures.
- Conduct cybersecurity inspections, assessments, tests and audits as required.
- Resolve information assurance help desk tickets.
- Able to socially interact with varying personalities to successfully communicate requirements of documentation and artifacts and results of validation.
- Demonstrate knowledge of wireless scanning and reporting.
- Participate in Weekly Charge Boards as the Cyber Security SME.
- Demonstrate good writing skills to help with the production of processes and policy.
- Demonstrate good speaking skills used to lead presentations regarding Cyber Activities.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Required to produce Weekly Activity Reports to the direct manager.
- Manage, assign workload, and report activities to other Cyber Security personnel
Minimum Requirements
- Active in scope DoD Top Secret security clearance.
- Must be IAM III compliant and possess a current VMware certification.
- Must have working knowledge of server, storage and desktop virtualization technologies.
- Minimum of 3 years of RMF experience in a combatant command engineering IT solutions for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CPN-X.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting RMF and 7 years’ experience in DoD Cyber environments.
- Current US Passport. Kuwait
- Ability to meet Visa and CRC CENTCOM Mod-15 Deployment Requirements.
Work Environment
- Working environment is a climate-controlled facility.
- Outdoor temperatures may exceed temperatures of 110 degrees Fahrenheit.

**Duties**:The Security TOC Observer ensures security protocols, policies and standards are adhered to across the Udairi Range Complex (URC) and direct supporting operations in accordance with ASG-KU and contractual requirements. Security TOC Observer evaluates training, operational procedures, facilities, and systems with an emphasis on identifying real and potential security risks. Security TOC Observer abides by and enforces all Security Programs, Policies and Procedures as they relate to range operations and in compliance with all contractual requirements and the ASG-KU Range Operations Standardized Operating Procedures (SOP). Additionally, the Security TOC Observer adheres to and enforce ARCENT TSS implemented security programs to prevent accidents, property loss and theft in the performance of their duties or while receiving services provided by the contractor and subcontractors; performs scheduled security inspections on the URC and may provide technical support to supported unit personnel, as required. - Prepares weekly security audits.

**Responsibilities**:
Within limits of delegated authority, the Field Security Associate is responsible for the following duties:
Assists the Security Adviser in collecting, updating and communicating information regarding the security situation in Kuwait:
- Liaises and coordinates, as appropriate, with the host government security organizations and/or personnel, including national and local provincial authorities, military, and police officers, as well as non-governmental organizations in the area of operation;
- Helps to assess the security situation at the duty station and ensures adequate gathering and verification of security information that may be required for a proper analysis of the situation;
- Communicates information on security issues to the heads of United Nations agencies and provides host country security advice to UNDSS, as required;
- Maintains regular contacts with Security Focal Points of UN agencies;

Assists with the monitoring of the security measures implementation as recommended in the Security Risks Management (SRM) process for the AoR.
