**Physical Education School Teacher Responsibilities**:

- Use and permit to be used textbooks that are approved by the BOT and Ministry of Education only.
- Attend and actively participate in grade level meetings.

- Supervise students in the classroom, in the hallways, on the playground, and when students are on breaks, recess, and dismissal.

What You Offer
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the PE English National Curriculum and is able to teach the subject across Key Stages 2/3 and 4. The successful candidate would reflect upon and adapt practice to raise attainment while instilling confidence and independence into our pupils. The successful candidate would also commit to the successful and extensive after-school programme on offer at GBA.

Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status: A degree qualification in teaching (e.g. PGCE or Bachelor’s in Education) with evidence of teaching Physical Education or sports science. Expert knowledge of your subject area as evidenced by your passion and CPD for various pitch and court focused sports and activities. Recent UK teaching experience or international experience within a British curriculum-based, BSO-accredited school. Fluent in spoken and written English. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and build good relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
