**Description**:
The job duties of the integrative medicine physician include merging holistic health practices with mainstream treatments. In this career, you work as a licensed doctor to provide natural healing treatments, holistic therapies, and lifestyle and diet advice that compliments regular health care. You may work to prevent diseases and health complications by offering traditional medicine treatments, bodywork treatments, or nutrition and exercise plans. Your exact job responsibilities depend on the holistic and natural therapies that you provide to patients.
The integrative medicine fellow should demonstrate compassionate, appropriate, and effective patient care based on the existing evidence base in integrative medicine for disease prevention, treatment of illness and health promotion. use, including patient experience and response.

What You Will Do
Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides basic and advanced nursing care for an assigned group of patients based upon competence and experience. Responsibilities will include basic PCT duties, such as routing personal care, changing linens, vital signs, transport, ambulation, etc. The PCT is an essential part of the care team. The PCT helps support emotional and physical needs of patients. The ideal applicant would demonstrate excellent customer service skills, and ability to multitask. The PCT is a positive role model and promotes teamwork.
Required Education
Ability to read, write and do simple math. Ability to follow instructions.
Preferred Education
High School diploma, GED/equivalent
Required Skills
Good communication skills. Basic computer skills. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.
Required Licensure/Registration/Certification
BLS; Nurses Aid certification, completion of one year formal RN coursework (e.g. one year of AND or junior year of BSN program) or one year of in hospital PCT experience
Preferred Experience
