1. Treats and diagnoses ailments specific to the female reproductive organs
2. Examines patients, performs and interprets diagnostic tests to obtain information on a medical condition, and determines the diagnosis.
3. Counsels patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive health care.
4. Examines patients and determine x-ray examinations and clinical laboratory tests as required.
5. Detects the presence of multiple births or birth defects through ultrasound.
6. Conducts regular ward rounds independently and assists treating physicians during ward rounds.
7. Assists in gynecological operations when required.
8. Assists and attends deliveries either naturally or by cesarean section and ensures that the baby and mother are healthy. However, if it is required to deliver cases, he/she needs to take prior approval and perform the same under the supervision of the treating Consultant.
9. Attends and assists regular and complicated deliveries; attends casualty cases, provides.

Position Purpose
Axios is seeking Patient Support Program Coordinators to help administer our regional Patient Support Programs. These roles offer an opportunity to interact with patients, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and contribute to meaningful work in both office and field settings.
Suitable candidates will need to have hands on experience in working with patients.

Position Duties:
- Utilize Axios’ Patient Management System (PMS) to manage program operations efficiently.
- Work with hospitals, pharmacies, and patients to ensure timely enrolment and access to treatment.
- Conduct visits to patients, doctors, pharmacies, and private sector stakeholders to facilitate seamless project workflows.
- Maintain and update patient records for accurate, real-time program tracking.
- Prepare detailed reports, including monthly updates on patient data and quarterly quality assurance summaries.
- Develop strong organizational skills to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to the team success.
- Embrace a patient-centric approach to drive better patient outcomes.
- Support office operations and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Educational Requirements and Background:
- Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory requirement for all applicants
- Education: A degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years working within the Hospital/ Healthcare Industry is essential
