**Job Role**:
Ensure Safety standards and practices are upheld and preventing accidents and injuries.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for day wise department activities.
Send the Weekly safety report to Plant Manager and concerned parties.
Supervise and regulate the tasks of the plant service team and the cleaning team.
Monitor the plants and facilities to spot near misses & non-adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), misconduct and report the same.
Coordinate with supervisors and concerned people schedule various training sessions for the workers.
Ensure the availability of proper PPE as per required specifications.
Coordinate/follow up with Maintenance for maintenance related jobs that would impact safety.
Coordinate/follow up with Supervisors and clinic in case of an accident and investigate for root cause. Prepare a detailed investigation report with photos and suggest remedial corrective / preventive actions.
Create safety courses that are directly related to jobs in the plant.
Produce Monthly safety report/presentation and present the same in the monthly safety meeting with all stakeholders.
Extend technical & administrative support to the peers whenever required.
Solicit support from Plant Superintendent / Plant Manager to achieve department KPIs.

Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Industrial/ Production Engineering.
2 - 3 Years working experience as a Safety Supervisor / Engineer in a reputed manufacturing / heavy fabrication plant.
Good working knowledge of OSHAS, NEBOSH etc.
Conversant with PPE Safety Standards relevant to manufacturing / fabrication industry.
Good Analytical skills to understand safety & behavioural trends.
Knowledge of Computers like MS office & AutoCAD is preferable.
Working experience in SAP Environment is advantageous.
Good command on languages English & Arabic is preferable.

• Shell scripting
• CI/CD (Github Actions, Gitlab CI, etc)

• Oversee integration with SCADA, data historians, and field instrumentation systems.
