We are looking for a talented and skilled Mechanical Technician to join our multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. You will be responsible for performing day-to-day shift activities, and repairs, and attending planned and unplanned shutdowns. Additionally, you will be Inspecting and maintaining EAF/ LF/ CCM/ EOT Cranes/ Raw material handling systems/FTP/ Fans/Pumps/Air Compressors.

Duties may include but will not be limited to:

  • Carrying out maintenance activities (preventive and corrective maintenance) as per SAP work order and giving back proper feedback.
  • Inspection of responsible/allocated area equipment, reporting any abnormality to the higher level and recording it in the logbook and checklists in SAP.
  • Correcting the identified abnormalities under the supervision of the superior.
  • Attending breakdowns, minimizing delays and unplanned shutdowns.
  • Implementing & following the instructions from the management.
  • Coordinating with other departments and working as a team.
  • Carrying out daily shift activities and following through with the problems.
  • Proper maintenance of equipment/facilities and carrying out repair works and keeping spares ready.
  • Studying the system, proper tools handling, safekeeping and working effectively to reduce the maintenance cost.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or ITI in Mechanical
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician in a steel melting plant.

The main role of the IT technical support officer is to support the end users in utilizing the IT internal system by providing them training and being a consultant for any issues, configuring and managing a company’s infrastructure including all of the hardware, software, and operating systems and maintaining the security level inside the company, in addition to monitoring the fixed assets on a regular basis. IT technical support offer is in charge of conducting backups for the accounts users and the historical data, and identifying the main reasons for the devices’ troubleshooting as well as repairing them.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Follow the departmental objective in line with the company’s vision and mission and commit to internal regulations and policies.
- Provide technical assistance for the employees by responding to daily requests that have relevant to computer hardware and software.
- Keep the computer systems running smoothly ensuring that they were met the high satisfaction rates and that users get the maximum benefit from them.
- Assist in providing the replacement of any device for Hassan Abul departments after receiving the request officially including the direct manager’s approval.
- Commit to the policies and regulations of the system utilization in order to maintain the security level inside the company.
- Respond to the other departments’ requests within the agreed time frame as well as execute the needful accordingly.
- Submit recommendations for the existing program improvement based on the main reasons for troubleshooting reasons and the existing weak points.
- Assess user needs to provide support and proactive service in order to take advantage of available tools.
- Assist in implementing the backups for the departments’ historical data on a regular basis ensuring that the internal system and documents are secured.
- Keep the computer systems running smoothly ensuring that the end users get the maximum benefits from them by monitoring the system performance on a regular basis and proposing recommendations for improvement.
- Keep up to date with the new technologies in the market in order to upgrade the existing software and systems that will reflect and raise productivity inside the company.
- Provide supportive services to the users in solving complicated troubleshooting, and network problems.

  2. Conduct basic IP and network connectivity troubleshooting.
  3. Create and manage user accounts within a Microsoft domain environment.
  4. Add and remove computers from the domain.
  5. Assign users to appropriate groups and apply necessary permissions.
  6. Create and manage Exchange mailboxes.
  7. Diagnose and resolve user email-related issues.
  8. Troubleshoot and configure printers, including mapping shared printers.
  9. Document all support actions and troubleshooting steps for reporting and tracking purposes.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. An Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable).
  2. Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
  3. Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience with IT systems.
  4. Must have a minimum of four (4) years in IT customer support.
  5. Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience in a military environment.
  6. Must have one (1) of the following required certifications: A+CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+CE, SSCP.
  7. Able to travel to support mission up to 10%.

Associate’s degree in Networking, OR eleven (11) total years of recent specialized experience.
