**TASK DESCRIPTION**: This position is located in the Kuwait Air Force (KAF) Organizational Level Maintenance Activity at Ahmed Al-Jaber Air Base to provide contract maintenance services relating to the installation, operation, maintenance, modification and repair of the F/A-18 weapons system. TASK REQUIREMENT: 1. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, trouble shooting, structural repairs and inspections on F/A-18 airframes, sub-assemblies and components. 2.

Metal and composite repair, internal fuel cell sealing, fastener installation and repair and the removal, installation and rigging of flight control surfaces. 3. Perform corrosion inspections and treatment. 4.

Cross train as a hydraulic technician in an integrated airframes work center. 5. Support on-the-job training and cross training of KAF personnel. Basic qualifications 1.

Have completed an F/A-18 Fleet Replacement Aviation Maintenance Program Airframes Course. 2. Have completed a Corrosion Control Course. 3.

Have Composite Repair experience. 4. Have a minimum of four years experience of hydraulic/flight control systems on F/A-18 aircraft. 5.

Proficient with Visual Information Display System/Maintenance Action Form document and all applicable technical publications. 6. Have a minimum of one year F/A-18 Plane Captain experience. 7.

No security clearance required.

Position Summary

The College of Engineering at the IUK seeks candidates for an assistant/associate professor position to teach Civil & Architectural Engineering courses. The faculty members will teach introductory-level courses in Civil & Architectural Engineering for science and engineering majors, and non-science majors. In addition to teaching, successful candidates are expected to maintain significant scholarly work and professional services. The successful candidate will contribute to develop an outcome-based student-focused curriculum.

The primary role of the faculty members at the IUK is to promote high-quality teaching, research, and services. Besides, he/she should collaborate with the Head of Department, College's Dean, and the colleagues to achieve the department's and College's mission, mentor junior colleagues, and teaching assistants, and support the department and the University with several administrative and academic services.

**Qualifications:**
+ High School diploma.
+ Five (5) years' experience in at least one of the following areas of expertise:
+ Construction security surveillance
+ Technical Surveillance Countermeasures
+ Industrial or government security involving counterintelligence
+ Construction quality assurance
+ Hands-on supervisory construction experience
+ Demonstrated ability to learn the principles of multiple construction disciplines, to include Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic Engineering
+ Capable of reading and analyzing designs and blueprints and recognizing the architect's intended use
+ Capable of analyzing designs and structural complexities, which are intended to mask an ulterior purpose not wanted by the architect
+ Construction knowledge to include plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, concrete and finishing work
+ Understanding of ICD-705 document of SCIF construction
+ Familiarity with AutoCAD or like products
+ Demonstrate knowledge of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, construction principles and devices used by hostile and friendly intelligence services for the purpose of clandestine surveillance
+ Shall be or become thoroughly knowledgeable of security procedures and the level of security required in various parts of each facility under construction/renovation
+ Effectively communicate in English, as well as be able to write detailed reports, analyses of problems, findings, and security situations which require staff actions
+ Capable of independent decision-making, possess a high degree of individual initiative, and function with minimal supervision
+ Must have a working knowledge of construction safety, construction project cycles, and common nomenclature of material/equipment
+ Must be able and willing to work outdoors in inclement conditions
+ Must have the ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
+ Able to lift and/or carry objects up to 50 pounds
+ Active TS/SCI clearance is required

Overview Construction Surveillance Technician - TS/SCI role at CACI International Inc. Location: Kuwait.

Responsibilities

Assess the potential locations where clandestine technical surveillance devices could be used by hostile intelligence services for the purpose of clandestine surveillance

Perform security escort and access control related duties as assigned

Understand and can put into practice basic technical surveillance techniques and procedures and is familiar with state-of-the-art development of intercept devices

Identify unauthorized materials

Assess industrial or government security requirements

Assess static security techniques and procedures

Interpretation of blueprints and technical specifications

Practice construction security surveillance techniques

Assess security practices/procedures for various levels of security

Assess construction terminology, procedures, and practices

Assess methods used to emplace technical penetrations or unauthorized materials

Inspect all construction materials, packages, bags, boxes, crates, and vehicles using x-ray equipment and other technical inspection tools

Perform visual inspections of all work performed by uncleared personnel for anomalies and to identify the introduction of clandestine technical devices

Review construction drawings to ensure all construction performed is in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
