About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Manager to join our Group Tax team. The candidate will work alongside the existing Tax Senior Manager and report directly to the Head of Group Tax. This role is critical to supporting the Group's international tax strategy, ensuring compliance with emerging tax regulations (notably Pillar Two and DMTT), and providing hands-on guidance across our regional operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. International Tax Compliance: Ensure the Group's compliance with global tax regulations including Pillar Two, CbCR, and DMTT laws in the region.
  2. Advisory & Planning: Provide proactive tax advice on cross-border transactions, group restructurings, and intercompany arrangements.

What We Need From You

Education:

Experience:

  8. Advise internal stakeholders on direct and indirect tax implications of intra-group agreements and contractual arrangements with third-party vendors and service providers.
  9. Ensure completion and filing of all applicable tax returns for the Group’s entities.
  10. Assist in the development and communication of tax policies, procedures and processes, and internal control procedures and ensure compliance therewith.
  11. Assist in the development of tax planning initiatives by applying international tax laws, foreign tax laws and double tax treaties to minimize foreign and domestic taxes on foreign income.
  12. Monitor the effective tax rates of the individual entities and identify opportunities for improvement.
  13. Support all corporate strategic initiatives, including evaluation of the tax implications of activities, structures, and transactions.
What We Need From You

Educational Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  2. CPA certification (or CPA candidate) is a plus.
  3. ADIT certification (or ADIT candidate) is a plus.

Experience

  1. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in local and international taxation with a Big 4 Firm or a multinational company.
  2. International tax planning and structuring experience.

Knowledge

  1. Technical knowledge of tax accounting.

Assist in the development and management of global tax reporting, tax compliance, and transfer pricing policy for the Group in line with OECD BEPS Action 13 requirements and ensure compliance therewith. Ensure compliance with international tax reporting requirements, including Country-by-Country reporting and other BEPS requirements. Advise internal stakeholders on international tax issues, such as creation of permanent establishment, foreign withholding tax (WHT) requirements, value-added tax (VAT). Advise internal stakeholders on direct and indirect tax implications of intra-group agreements and contractual arrangements with third-party vendors and service providers. Ensure completion and filing of all applicable tax returns for the Group’s entities. Assist in the development and communication of tax policies, procedures and processes, and internal control procedures and ensure compliance therewith. Assist in the development of tax planning initiatives by applying international tax laws, foreign tax laws and double tax treaties to minimize foreign and domestic taxes on foreign income. Monitor the effective tax rates of the individual entities and identify opportunities for improvement. Support all corporate strategic initiatives, including evaluation of the tax implications of activities, structures, and transactions. What We Need From You

Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA certification (or CPA candidate) is a plus. ADIT certification (or ADIT candidate) is a plus. Experience A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in local and international taxation with a Big 4 Firm or a multinational company. International tax planning and structuring experience. Knowledge Technical knowledge of tax accounting. BEPS Actions, especially Transfer Pricing. VAT knowledge is a plus. Fluent in both Arabic and English languages. About Application Process

**The opportunity**

Our BTA tax service line operates as a team of highly experienced tax professionals who focus on delivering efficient and effective resources to companies in the region. You will work with organizations and individuals to structure transactions and operations in a tax-effective manner. This includes helping clients to mitigate tax risk and comply effectively with tax laws.

You will help businesses meet complex demands for tax reporting, compliance, planning, strategy and controversy. By integrating deep technical and industry knowledge with established methodologies, you will work with a wide range of businesses and corporations to help them develop and implement effective, practical and sustainable tax strategies.

You will provide tailored advice to clients and build valued relationships with them and your team. You will have the support of a strong team with proven expertise in this area and the opportunity to progress, learn and accelerate your career. You will be able to own and lead projects, work on business tax field and influence the leadership team to further develop business opportunities.

**Your key responsibilities**

You will be responsible for high level management and successful delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and high-quality client service. You will also team with other service lines, geographies, and diverse work groups to build advisory services and related opportunities as well as long-term relationships. You will be focusing passionately on key client business strategies and related tax policies and issues to develop pipeline.

You will be responsible for the overall management of client engagements, monitor progress and deliverables, put in place the necessary standardized processes, resolve or escalate issues as appropriate and drive performance-improvement solutions. You will also assist partners to generate new business opportunities, build client networks and to grow our client base in the region by driving marketing and business development initiatives.

You will create, lead and motivate high performing teams and build a positive learning culture, coaching and counseling team members to help them develop. You will be responsible for managing engagement economics and communicating significant issues, fees and estimates-to-complete to partners and clients. You will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to our Tax Quality guidelines.

**Skills and attributes for success**

If you are an excellent communicator and detail-oriented professional, with strong analytical and problem solving skills, who is comfortable working across borders with a wide network of people, you will be perfect for the role.

**To qualify for the role you must have**
- A bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials in accounting, business, finance, law, taxation or any related essential fields.
- MBA, Masters, LLM or another related advanced degree and/or professional qualifications e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT or equivalent qualification.
- A very strong knowledge and experience of over 7 years in Corporate Tax, ideally within a large professional services company or similar environment.
- A strong track record of managerial, organizational and project management experience.

**Ideally, you also have**
- Experience of dealing with multinational clients and ability to work in multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to win in the market by connecting with c-suite level, good negotiation skill and ability to work under challenging situations.
