Job Description

Supports the Plant Manager in overseeing daily operations in a foam and mattress

production facility. This role ensures operational efficiency, quality, safety, and

employee productivity across all manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate has

hands-on experience in mattress production and can contribute to process

improvement, team supervision, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

- Assist in coordinating and supervising production schedules for foam blocks

and mattress assembly lines.

- Monitor production output, material usage, and scrap rates to ensure

optimal efficiency and minimal waste.

- Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and support the QA team

in resolving product quality issues.

- Supervise production line leaders and operators in the absence of the Plant

Manager.

- Provide training and guidance to ensure standard operating procedures

(SOPs) are followed.

- Support employee performance reviews and discipline when required.

- Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance

and minimize downtime.

- Report machinery issues promptly and follow up on resolution timelines.

- Verify inventory consumption rates and participate in cycle counts or

physical inventories.

- Identify areas for continuous improvement in production flow, labor

efficiency, and material yield.

- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, including

OEE, downtime, scrap analysis, and output.

- Collaborate with ERP system for accurate data logging and tracking.

- Enforce safety policies and maintain a clean and organized manufacturing

area.

- Participate in safety inspections, risk assessments, and compliance audits.

- Promote a culture of safety and responsibility across the team.

Work Nature

- Duty time : 48hr/week, one day off,In-call when required

- Scope of the responsibilities changing when required.

- Regular contacts with subordinate managers and team leaders in all plant areas

to Plan, discuss and agree operational requirements

Skills

Required educational level

- B.Sc. in engineering, preferably, Mechanical / industrial Engineering.

Required experience

- A minimum of 4 years corporate private sector experience in a range of senior

operations positions. It is expected that at least 2 years of this would be at the

managerial level.

Required training

- Certified in one of Management system ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 , Six Sigma

- English is essential language and the ability to communicate effectively.
