Role Profile
Role Title: Senior Officer Budget Planning and Cost Control

Job Purpose
To support the financial performance of the company by preparing, monitoring, and analysing budgets, while carrying out the activities of the Cost Unit. The role is responsible for calculating and controlling the production costs of all products and processes, ensuring accuracy in cost allocation, and providing management with reliable financial insights to guide decision-making and optimize resource utilization.
In this role, you will be responsible for key performance areas and responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:
- Supervising the process of updating financial costs based on new developments.
- Following up and monitoring the prices of raw materials used in production processes.
- Supervising the review and approval of net portions for new raw materials.
- Conducting financial cost analysis for the company.
- Ensuring the implementation of all approved financial regulations in the company.
- Submitting monthly, periodic, and annual reports to the direct supervisor regarding workflow, and providing appropriate and relevant recommendations.
- Monitoring and overseeing the pricing of raw materials used in the company’s production processes.
- Supervising the review and approval of net portions for new raw materials in the company.
- Entering data and preparing reports in accordance with accounting principles and the company’s approved financial systems, and processing/modifying cost-related accounting data.
- Reviewing cost calculations based on expenses, quantities, and prices.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in Budget Planning and Cost Control.
Additional Requirements:
- Proficiency in computer applications and automated systems .
- Completion of certified training courses relevant to the field.
- Ability to execute and manage financial and accounting procedures in line with approved accounting principles and policies.
- Capability to prepare regular financial reports .
- Proficiency in English and Arabic (both spoken and written).
