Engineer Needed In Ahmadi.Position: LNG Process Engineer Location: Kuwait. Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled LNG Process Engineer to join our team. The chosen candidate will provide process engineering technical support for the design and operation of LNG plants/facilities, ensuring process and operational optimization within the context of Incident Free Operations. This position will involve assisting with project engineering efforts and working with a variety of stakeholders to carry out process evaluations and optimization strategies.
Primary responsibilities include conducting daily process evaluations to optimize LNG plant operations based on feedstock and ambient conditions. Use process simulators/simulation techniques to optimize plant production while reducing resource expense. Work with operations group to implement research findings and adjust plant operations accordingly.
Use plant process simulators like Hysys to calculate heat and material balances for specific gas processing equipment and the overall plant. Manage and oversee inlet facility/treatment units, jetty operations, utilities, and gasification/product storage areas. Assist with pre-commissioning, commissioning, and performance testing of plant operations. Monitor operations, debottleneck, conduct plant studies, and ensure sales contract compliance.
Minimum Qualifications: Chartered Process Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or comparable discipline. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 5 years in a similar LNG role. Extensive experience in oil and gas facilities, including LNG, gasification units, marine utilities, LNG vaporization, and export operations. • Proficient in process simulation software, such as Hysys.
