The Civil Design Engineer is responsible for leading and executing detailed civil and structural engineering designs for oil & gas facilities, including onshore and offshore infrastructure. This role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Develop and review civil and structural design deliverables (e.g., foundations, site layouts, drainage systems, access roads).
- Ensure compliance with international codes (e.g., ACI, BS, Eurocode) and client standards.
- Collaborate with geotechnical, mechanical, and piping teams to integrate civil designs.
- Conduct site assessments and support construction teams during execution.
- Lead design reviews, manage design changes, and mentor junior engineers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in civil design within oil & gas or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD Civil 3D, SAP2000).
- Strong understanding of HSE and QA/QC practices.
