Overview

Under the general guidance of the Audio Visual Manager, the Senior Audio Visual Support Technician will ensure Video Teleconferencing Technicians perform complex troubleshooting and system restoration on USG conferencing and communications equipment. They will operate complex secure transmission equipment, manage classified materials, and oversee the deployment and maintenance of audio, video, and lighting systems. The role serves as the primary point of contact for user support issues related to AV.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all VTC operational and administrative requirements, ensuring contractual compliance and participating in audits.
  • Provide diagnostics and corrective actions for large-scale VTC systems, including secure switches.
  • Operate and support VTC equipment for briefings, presentations, and sessions.
  • Handle encryption materials for classified VTC sessions.
  • Manage property accountability for Vectrus assets.
  • Provide IT support for conference room briefings and presentations, 7 days a week.
  • Train users on VTC equipment operation, including call management.
  • Support maintenance and troubleshooting of VTC and AV equipment, including projectors, displays, and cameras.
  • Apply knowledge of IP and ISDN VTC systems in troubleshooting.
  • Assist with physical cable installations.
  • Ensure all AV systems comply with security regulations.

  • Maintain installed AV systems and provide live event support for ceremonies and concerts.
  • Deploy and manage multiple event audio systems simultaneously.
