Scope

  • • Ensure the achievement of store sales budget
  • • Responsible for managing the store costs in an effective manner
  • • Responsible for the overall results of the store, working closely with all Managers (FoH and BoH) to ensure that the day-to-day activities build into the long term plan

Key Accountabilities


• Empowered by the Retail Director/Area Manager/City Manager:

  • -Guarantee the store profitability
  • - Create the vision and tone for the store while at the same time driving a highly successful and profitable business with the partnership of both Regional/Corporate managements
  • - Develop and implement business action plans to maximize sales for each product category and clients tier segment
  • - Maintain a high sell through
  • - Ensure the implementation and execution of all company initiatives within the store
  • • Ensure that the highest level of client service is provided motivating and challenging the Staff (FoH and BoH)
  • • Guarantee the full organization of company assets, for both the BoH and FoH guidelines
  • • Communicate company set KPIs and identify strategies to ensure that the performance standards are met
  • • Lead daily store meetings to communicate current business trends, relevant updates and motivate the store employees to perform
  • • Manage and support stock levels through direct communication with key business departments
  • • Assure stock fill-in on basics and purchase assortment to achieve store goals
  • • Lead the CRM processes in order to:
  • - guarantee the execution of the company’s CRM initiatives
  • - develop opportunities with loyal and potential clients
  • • Ensure Learning and Development activities for the store employees:
  • - overseeing training conducted by other Staff members ensuring that product knowledge, client service, systems, procedures and teamwork are adequately covered
  • - in collaboration with HR L&D, preparing individual development plans for the Staff, which include clear, measurable goals and performance reviews on timely bases
  • - conducting or supervising monthly coaching sessions with the store employees to review performance and provide constructive, timely feedback
  • • Provide the store schedules and leadership zoning, to ensure adequate floor coverage and timely submission of payroll records for all employees
  • • Recap monthly store performance, reporting current business trend to cover every aspect of the business, as well as, competitors’ performance
  • • Monitor store expenses and maintain store operating budget while aiming to reduce overall cost
  • • Oversee the processing of daily incoming and outbound merchandise requests and shipments

- Identify key market insights on sales / distribution / promotion trends in the market for Prepaid Business and prepare reports to support Senior Management in making business decisions.
- Coordinate with other departments including Finance, Marketing, BI and Technology to provide meaningful analysis and insight on market working & Distribution KPIs
- Work with the Sales team to ensure that the Sales KPI’s are metPrepare Targets for Sales Channel & Internal Team members considering Overall company objective & Strategy
- Preparation of Channel & Internal Employee Scheme and approval from Management
- Validate report on the performance of sales campaigns
- Provide Analytics support guidelines to drive sales campaign efficiency
- Monitoring achievement versus targets
- Review dashboards on Sales channels and FOS performance
- Recommend analytical insights to increase sales efficiency and reduce costs
- Present to upper management regular report to track sales performance and campaigns results
- Identify and lead process efficiency opportunities
- Assist the Sales division in lifting demand generation to next level and increase quality, quantity and efficiency through a clear focus on driving campaign volume and yield
- Close coordination with Marketing and Communication teams to drive sales campaign efficiency
- Monitor competitor activities on regular basis.
- Ensure that the global campaign strategy is followedContribute to the Sales Division communication plan through attendance of regular team meetings, the preparation of a weekly status report and attendance at team events.
- Proactively take responsibility for self improvement by staying well-informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise.
- Proactively manage and motivate the team to be highly professional and results oriented

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Key Accounts, Cooperatives, Horeca & Ecommerce
  2. Effectively track, grow, and maintain positive sales for the company’s brands across main channels using a data-driven approach assigned by management.
  3. Follow, enforce, and track the Standard Operating Procedures set by the Commercial Manager to ensure a smooth sales pipeline and category-wise targets.
  4. Build and maintain profitable relationships with existing and new customers.
  5. Implement new creations, promotions, primary display, and secondary display as per brand requirements.
  6. Maintain communication with all outlets regarding day-to-day activities.
  7. Coordinate with Sales Supervisors on planograms, sales reviews by outlet, new implementations, clerical issues, and space constraints.
  8. Ensure products are displayed in a first-in, first-out manner and expiry dates are managed.
  9. Study and control return ratios.
  10. Identify and close deals with new customers.
  11. Increase profile and product range for existing customers.

Sales Team / Distribution Team

  1. Coordinate effective strategies to lower costs through efficient route planning by location and increase store productivity (better displays, improved merchandising skills).
  2. Conduct timely meetings on sales data/dashboard monthly and assign targets based on customer ratings such as sell-out rate, return ratio, and MSL.
  3. Coordinate on-ground activities with the sales team to ensure smooth workflow.

Skills

  • Open to Indian nationals.
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in a reputed FMCG distribution company.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; bilingual candidates preferred.
  • Well-networked and endorsed within the FMCG industry.
