This position is located in Camp Arifjan and Camp Buehring, Kuwait, supporting the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS). The Field Service Representative (FSR) provides operation, maintenance, and supply support for the Joint Portal Shield (JPS) Systems.

1. Perform daily operation and maintenance tasks for the JPS system at field sites.
2. Provide operation, maintenance, and supply support for the JPS System.
3. Perform maintenance actions including Operator’s, Field Level, and Sustainment Level maintenance to keep the JPS operational.
4. Operate the JPS in contingency and expanded Threat Condition (THREATCON) Delta roles when notified by the Government, during exercises, VIP visits, or increased threat levels.
5. Perform system modifications and upgrades, including routine, urgent, and emergency MWOs to replace obsolete parts.
6. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in multi-vendor systems.
7. Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment.
8. Maintain sufficient stock of LRUs, SRUs, and repair parts for daily and contingency operations.
9. Perform software upgrades and apply IA security patches.
10. Maintain supplies, consumables, expendables, and repair parts for all JPS systems.
11. Interface with installation CBRNE response and Emergency Management teams, maintaining customer relations for effective emergency response.

• High School Degree or GED.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience.
• Experience with US Military force protection systems and JPS systems preferred.
• Experience with chemical/biological detection equipment.
• Experience with power generation equipment (5-10 KW preferred).
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electronic systems, components, wiring harnesses, LRUs.
• Experience using maintenance management software (Maximo preferred).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Job Responsibilities

·Pre-screen, identify, analyse, and repair appliance and electronic product failures to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

·Configuring/troubleshooting experience with hardware, including audio-DSP, A/V control, video and audio devices, and USB based software applications.

·Order necessary parts after initial pre-screen so they are in hand before going to customers' premises.

·Perform daily administrative functions to include warranty claims and report submissions.

Candidate Requirements

·3 to 5 years of field service experience in all major home appliances.

·Possess appropriate Refrigerant Handling Certificate(s), CET, (HVAC) and other applicable appliance or electronics service certifications.

·Knowledge and proficient use of electronics, appliance and/or refrigeration tools and diagnostic test equipment.

·Proficient in MS Office and Smartphone technology with the ability to quickly learn proprietary software applications.

·Valid driver's license with a clear driving record.

·Meet physical requirements generally associated with field service repair (lifting, bending, etc.).

·Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

·Excellent communication, organization and customer service skills.

The Computer Service Technician applies understanding, knowledge, and guidance of information systems hardware and software to provide problem resolution, diagnosis, and solutions in a service center environment. They clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly professional manner. Responsibilities include recognizing, researching, isolating, and resolving first-level information systems problems, performing technical inspections for all work processed in the Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) Bench, and performing other duties as assigned.

• Provide technical maintenance and service for all ADPE equipment.
• Evaluate equipment for malfunctions and deficiencies.
• Perform baseline procedures and hardware replacement.
• Work closely with the Systems Support Specialist, Lead (SSSL), to determine serviceability of workstations, monitors, printers, servers, and other peripherals.
• Ensure final technical inspections are completed and proper status is entered in the work order tracking system.
• Perform monthly UBL inventories and assist with cyclical property inventories.
• Perform other duties and assignments as required.

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Secret Clearance.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operation's License and Host Nation Driver's License.
  • Meets requirements outlined in AR 25-2 for privileged access (IAT-I) to ISs. Certifications: CompTIA Security+ and Microsoft 365 Certified Modern Desktop Administrator or Server+ are required per DoD 8570.1-M.
  • Applicants must be Baseline & Computing Environment certified prior to hire per DoD 8570.1-M.
  • A+ Certification preferred.
• Experience:
  • At least 3 years of related experience.

  • Effective communication of technical information in English (written and verbal).
