Dental Technician (CadCam) specialist

Full Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Technician (CadCam) specialist to join our team in Al Kuwait, Kuwait. As a Dental Technician (CadCam) specialist, you will be responsible for creating and manufacturing dental prosthetics and appliances using computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CadCam) technology.

Responsibilities:

• Design and fabricate dental prosthetics and appliances such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances using CadCam technology.
• Read and interpret dental prescriptions and specifications to determine the design and materials required for each case.
• Operate CadCam software and hardware systems to digitally design dental prosthetics.
• Operate milling machines and other CadCam equipment to fabricate dental prosthetics from various materials.
• Inspect finished dental prosthetics for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all cases, including digital designs, materials used, and production details.
• Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure accurate and aesthetically pleasing results.
• Stay up to date with advancements in CadCam technology and incorporate new techniques and materials into practice.

Preferred Candidate:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dental Technician specializing in CadCam technology.
• Proficient in operating CadCam software and hardware systems.
• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality dental prosthetics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with dentists and other dental professionals.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and address any issues during the design and fabrication process.
• Knowledge of dental laboratory safety protocols and infection control procedures.
